Fall 2026 in Scottsdale: What's New, What's Coming Soon, and Top Events You Don't Want to Miss

The heat is breaking, patios are filling back up, and Scottsdale's busiest season is here. Whether you already live here or you're weighing a move, this is the best time of year to see how the city actually feels day to day. Here's what to know.

What's New

Scottsdale turns 75. The city is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year, honoring everything since its incorporation in 1951. Get involved with the all-ages community challenge: visit 75 designated locations around town, from public art and historic sites to local businesses and parks, and snap selfies to earn points. Still ahead: an old-time radio play on Scottsdale's aviation history in October and the dedication of 75 trees along the Indian Bend Wash.

Din Tai Fung is finally here. The famous Taiwanese dumpling house opened its first Arizona location at Scottsdale Fashion Square this year. Plan ahead for the wait.

BLU Seafood in McCormick Ranch. This Sonoran-inspired seafood spot brings the flavors of coastal Mexico to central Scottsdale, with fresh fish tacos, tostadas, oysters, and house-made sauces. The vibe is relaxed and resort-like, making it an easy pick for date night or a family dinner.

Starfish in McCormick Ranch. Starfish chose Scottsdale for its first restaurant outside California, opening in May with a menu inspired by the coastal cuisines of Thailand, Korea, Vietnam, China, and Japan. Think wok-fired dishes, fresh seafood, and handmade dumplings, with plenty for the whole table to share.

Kuza in North Scottsdale. The newest spot from the team behind Cala and The Americano, Kuza serves Japanese-inspired robata-grilled meats and sushi from a sleek dining room on North Scottsdale Road. Highlights include A5 Wagyu, Iberico pork dumplings, and chutoro tataki.

Coming Soon

ALMA at The Citadel. ALMA is reopening this fall at The Citadel in North Scottsdale as a Southwest steakhouse. Expect Copper Club, a rooftop lounge with live music; a tequila and mezcal bar; and the return of Barbwire Western Couture.

General Admission in Old Town. A new sports-focused dining and nightlife spot is set to open this fall on Scottsdale Road in the former RnR Gastropub space.

Vecina in McCormick Ranch. Vecina is expanding to McCormick Ranch this fall with a larger space, lake views, and a bigger menu.

Why Fall Is the Right Time to Explore

If you're thinking about moving to Scottsdale, fall is when you get the clearest picture. You can walk Old Town at night, test the drive to North Scottsdale for dinner, and see which neighborhoods feel like home before you ever look at a listing. That's exactly where we start with every family: the right neighborhood first, then the right house.
